APOPC invites you to submit your research abstracts at the APOPC2024 October 12-13, 2024 in Tokyo.
The presentation format will be posters only.
For research involving human subjects, please ensure that you have obtained approval from the Ethics Review Board prior to abstract submission in accordance with the regulations of your institution.

The deadline for abstract submission is 23:59 August 14, 2024 (JST, UTC+9)
23:59 August 21, 2024 (JST, UTC+9).

Presenting author registration

The presenting author MUST register for APOPC 2024 by August 30, 2024, or the abstract will automatically be withdrawn.
The first author MUST be the presenting author.

Acceptance notification

After peer review by the abstract review task force, the submitting author will be notified of acceptance by email the week of August 30 September 2, 2024.

Conflict of interest disclosure

During the abstract submission process, you will be asked to disclose any conflicts of interest.

Author information

The presenting author shall be the first author; co-first authors are not permitted. Registration is limited to 20 researchers including co-authors.

Abstract title

The abstract title must be less than 150 characters.

Abstract length

The abstract length is limited to 300 words not including the abstract title, author names or affiliations.

Abstract content

The submission system will prompt you to follow the following abstract format:

• - Backgrounds
• - Methods
• - Results
• - Conclusion
• - Sources of Funding
• - Conflict of Interests

Abstracts must describe completed research (abstracts that contain results and conclusions).

Language

Abstracts are accepted in English only.

Number of submissions

There is no limit to the number of abstract submissions, as long as the presenting author is present at the poster during the Poster and Exhibit Viewing Session.

Poster display details

Posters will be display on poster boards in the Exhibit Hall.
Posters are to be portrait and size 85 x 160 cm. All posters must be displayed on poster material.

Materials must be readable from a distance of 1 m or more.
The font used must be a minimum of 20 points and in bold format.
Industry-sponsored posters must clearly be identified as such - please state on your poster "Sponsored by (Company name/s)"

Poster Viewing Session Attendance - Mandatory
Presenting authors must be present during the Poster and Exhibit Viewing Session on Saturday, October 12 from 12:30 to 13:30.

Poster award

Poster presentations will be judged and the best poster will be awarded a certificate.
